Blues make McCarthy move
Striker Derek McCarthy has completed a return move to Limerick FC after failing to make a major impact in his single season at west coast rivals Galway United.
McCarthy was Limerick’s joint top scorer in 2003, netting 14 goals to help the Shannonsiders to a promotion play-off place.

Well then allow me to say that I for one think he should prove an excellent signing for us. Would by lying if I didn't own up to some concern at his poor spell at Galway but he's proven before what he can do.Quote:

word has it that derek is really looking forward to his return home,have it from a good source that derek has predicted that he will score 25 goals this season.he never let us down in the past and i dont think he will let us down this year,at least he;s showing confidence.
