Additions to back room staff

With pre-season training set to begin with a player weigh-in on Friday, Sean Connor will be putting the team through a gruelling first week back with a mixture of fitness training and gym tests.

But with the new season not that far away, Bit O’Red fans are looking forward to see what calibre of player will wear the jersey in 2005.

Rovers will be unveiling two new signings in the next week including Kupono Low, a left-sided player who hails from Hawaii and has been playing with the Syracuse Salty Dogs in the US. The manager “is confident that both will make a big impact. Apart from the two players that will be arriving in the next week, I have a couple of players that I am still trying to close off deals on. One is an experienced Eircom Premier League player and the other is England based but is currently under contract. Apart from those, there are two to three others who I am monitoring,” he said.
