Maher fires Cherries through to 4th round

Former Bohemians defender Shaun Maher scored one for Bournemouth that lead the Cherries to a 2-1 victory over Chester City at Dean Court on Saturday afternoon in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Dublin native central defender has had his fair share of injuries although this season he has again been at the front of manager Sean O’Driscoll’s plans making 26 appearances in all competitions.
