This is a bit of an unusual query but I have hit a few blanks in my research into the history of Longford Town FC pre 1984 and am looking desparately for any help or ideas.
My local paper the Longford Leader went on industrial strike from 11th March 1983 to end of November 1983. I have no way of knowing Longford Town FCs results for this period in all competitions.My library doenst have the other local paper from this period the Longford News for this period either so I am rather stuck.
If ye have any match reports or any ideas on who to contact,I would be eternally grateful as I have a good few gaps to fill especially with results and players in this period and also team photos.
