Public Accounts Committee investigating Capital Grants

Did anyone else read something about the PAC checking whether the last set of Capital Grants were used to pay wages by 2 clubs in particular?

I believe the payment of the current Capital Grants is being held up while this investigation continues.

If this is the reason for the non payment of grants it's an absolute scandal and the clubs responsible should be held accountable in some way.

The clubs that qualified for Europe in 2004 were supposed to get a couple of hundred thousand each but I don't think any of this has been paid.
