What was the mascot in USA 94? Know France 98 was a cockerel and the Ciao from Italia 90.... anyone remember the Irish Opel wolfhound? What happened him?
totally agree, although it might be because Italia '90 was when I first really became aware of football! I was 8 at the time, and I remember being told that Ireland were in the World Cup Finals against England. Throughout the entire match, I thought it was the World Cup Final - I think I only realised that it wasn't when the next match came along (Egypt??)Quote:

many of you collect the world cup 90 album?
havnt seen one as comprehensive as that bad boy since!! must have spent a fortune on that!! (the old man maybe!)
managed to get most of it - have to hang on to it for a few years - might be worth something someday!
The old World Cup 90 binder was the businness and a bit of a money racket. Used to buy the suppliment every week and add them in and then buy the stickers. I still have it at home - might be worth something in years to come. The only team that I managed to get every sticker for was Ireland.Quote:
