I have only seen him play a handful of times, he doesn't get much attention but looks a strong player who has been able to hold a starting place regularly for a number of teams in the championship, does he have the ability to progress to a higher level?

Yeah what the blimming eck is that about. Really strange wage arrangement he's (pay rise after every five games?) but he appears one of the lesser earning in fairness.
