Former Sligo Rovers and Derry City goalkeeper Ciaran Kelly, who parted company with the Candystripes recently, is set to take a break from eircom League football – meaning he may not return to the game in time for the beginning of the 2005 season next March.
Kelly impressed several observers during his stint at Sligo, and was snapped up by then Derry boss Gavin Dykes earlier this year.
