So with only a handful of home games to be played until the end of the season, What do people think of the change to saturday evening matches? Do you like saturday football, do you think it has improved the attendances, is the match day experience/atmosphere better or worse?
Personally, I dont like it. I love friday night matches and I think the experience/atmosphere has been non existent this year. Its more like a graveyard then a football venue.
You never get a good athmosphere at afternoon/early evening games. No problem with Saturday's but would prefer a later KO. It has not improved the attendances but is more suitable for away fans.
Defo more suitable for away fans but we haven't seen an increase in attendance from them, or home support either. The place just doesn't have the same buzz about it on a Saturday evening than a Friday night did.Quote:
