And, if they are given contracts, will they be advised to actually sign them, or to just sit on them in hope?? :D :D
Some one else posted about this earlier - but even among the raft of names that appeared in Blue last season I think there is the guts of a good team.
Fyffe
O'Mahoney, Finucane, Lynch, Kulsten
Sugrue, Conway, Hughes, Keating
O'Brien, Barry
would be my idea of the Limerick team of the season just gone and would not be a bad side if all were fit and available for selection.
We should of course be looking for more than that.
IMO we need a new centre half (Pat Purcell would do nicely) and retain Lynch as well. Molan and Ahern will provide cover at full back (and midfield for Molan). We need an experienced, able midfielder. Someone in the Eddie Gormley mode. On top of that Brendan Sweeney would be a great re-signing or what about a move for Steve Yelverton. B Hughes is a must and T Hughes would be at best cover. Eoin is probably gone but would be an excellent guy to hold on to. Our biggest problem is up front. Any hope of Stevie coming back? Derek McCarthy would be welcome but we really need three good strikers. Dupuy would be a good signing if available. Behan, Rose (ex-UCC, now St Pats) or Dave Warren - suggestions.

I think Fyffe, Finnucane and Hughes all should be signed up ASAP. I'd also give Ahearne, O'Mahony, Conway, Whyte and Molan contracts aswell. And I'd love to see Kulsten back, tho I think thats just wishful thinking.
hopefully jay jay will be back dont know if we can afford him again with out the help of CQ, ahern i have a sneaking supision might not be back if noc is manager :D :D :D
