Shelbourne retained their league title taking the clubs tally to twelve Championship success's, with a draw against St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park on Friday evening.

On the night, the game was uneventful and somewhat drab, although it was not the manner of the result that mattered, as Shels were worthy champions having led the league virtually from day one
