I could have sworn I read something towards the end of the season, that Ford had renewed their sponsorship of the Cup. Maybe I read wrong.

Possibly a silly question to ask, but does the sponsorship money go specifically to the clubs playing in the Cup, or just into the central FAI pot?
As long as they continue including pics of hot female celebrities in their articles for the flimsiest of reasons I'm all for it.

I'd say the fai are making a profit on both competitions.
The entry fees the clubs pay alone are greater than the total prize fund for the league.
