Stephen Kelly appointed as permanent manager at Athlone

Athlone Town have appointed Stephen Kelly as first-team manager for the 2005 Eircom League season.
The former player took over as caretaker manager earlier this year after Aaron Callaghan left the First Division club just 10 games into the season.

Kelly joined Athlone as a player in the 2002/2003 season and served as team captain for two years before assuming managerial duties.
