Yes Brendan was good on prime time. He has been a big loss to soccer in this country, not only from the club but from the League and indeed the Association as a whole.
Not surprised the FAI books are not in order. Treasurer John Delaney when he was with Waterford United , presided over the squandering of the IR£400,000 raised by the share issue a few years ago. At one point under Mike Flanagan they had 33 signed professional players but no reserve team, and they let go the two local men running the Under 21 side , Mick Madigan and Alan Barry.
A lot of what is going on in Merrion square is down to the remnants of the Louis Kilcoyne supporters still there.
