Nah, I sometimes bet on them, not always, it doesn't make any difference.

For example I bet on paddypower that Ireland would draw and that Network 2 would say 'Brilliant from Henry', I won both bets but I would have gladly lost a tenner and seen IReland beat the French!

I'd often bet big on Ireland's opposition as a consolidation if we lose. :) I forget about the bet once the match kicks off.

had a quid on Robbie Keane to score and Ireland to beat France 1-0. at 50/1. stupid bast*rd didn't score though!
