First point: I agree with Eanna. Any incursion onto the pitch can cost us dearly, not just in terms of money, but it makes our stewarding look like a joke. It reflects badly on us as fans, and gives the likes of that turd Ronan Seery some credibility when he attempts to smear us.
Second point: For every spanner who runs onto the pitch to give the ref a piece of his mind, there must be 100 in the grounds who would like to. I think we will have incidents like this, or near misses, so long as our players are subjected to the present low standards among referrees and linesmen.
