We are now 12 points behind $hel$ with 2 games in hand.
We also still have to play them.
They still have to play Bohs & Drogs
Our last game of the season is home to Bohs.

Wouldn't it be a laugh if that game ended up as the League decider................."are you listening Ger 'foot in mouth' Canning"..... (what a dipstick).

Don't laugh, $hel$ are certainly suffering from the ol' "heebie - jeebies" :D Friday will be vital with us playing our country cousins and Bohs away to $hel$ again.

Our next 2 games are against the Cup Finalists in the week leading up to the Final. Judging from Digger tonight I know what game he was thinking about.

24 pts up for grabs with 4 games at home ............. gonna sleep well tonight. ;)

However possible more than likely not probable, Good to see shels not having it there own way in the run in, Lets put the sh!ts up them.

It may affect Longford next week, but I reckon the thugs will be up for it on Friday as always. Bohs have to play them next Monday night, and will probably benefit from their minds being on the final, but I think Ratnolds and Co will be doing their best to get the three points on Friday knowing a win will put them above us.

Cup final places at stake and all of that and after the poor performance against CHFFEDCFC,its a massive game.I wouldnt like to be in ye're position coming to the RSC friday night

btw are ye actually going to have fans in the RSC or are the travelling city fans going to out number and embarass ye once again?

waterford will be a real test. they'll want to get some shít-kicking practice, I mean they'll be playing for their places, ahead of the final. still, I can see our game against Bohs on the last day of the season deciding the title- maybe not for us, but for Bohs. Still think we shouldn't rule the league out entirely. I said at the start of the season, I wanted us to close the gap. Well, if we were to finish 4 or 5 points behind the league winners, (be that in 2nd or 3rd) it would be an improvement on last season.

I'm hoping they'll be a little reserved i.e. not so willing to risk throwing themselves into tackles and coming out injured a week ahead of the cup final ;)

very hard to injure yourself when you're elbowing somebody in the face...... unless you do what Gazza did and break your elbow :D :D

We beat the thugs the last time with a very simple plan: we played football. If we keep out heads, be patient and keep it tight at the back, we should have enough skill to get a goal more than them. That said, I won't be hugely confident going down there on Friday.....:(
