That is very disturbing indeed. Would be more concerned about the Gardai that Denis O Brien from reading that though.
When I read the guardian piece I shrugged, then re read it and thought, jesus, this is the same stuff I saw in Croatia, that happens here in Russia. If it happened here the yanks and their corgis would be planning tactical nuclear strikes. This boils down to an investigation into the forces of justice in Ireland and the person loses their job.
On the gardai, I have the fullest respect for them. Yes there are tools like anywhere else (cashiers in boylesports : ) but the vast majority I have foubpnd to be amazing. But this slips by and suddenly....
