Donnelly never specified that he was open to selection by the FAI, as far as I know. Perhaps he has a hidden ambition to play for us, but he merely expressed that he didn't wish to be considered for selection by the IFA for the time being. All these youngsters being released is Wearen my patience thin :(

For some reason i feel like Shane Duffy has been around forever but he is still U-21.

I think King mentioned he might use him as a holding midfielder.

1-1 now, Carruthers equaliser.

2-1 Ireland with a few minutes left, O'Brien got the second.

Matt Doherty makes it 3.

Finished 4-1, O'Brien again. Got away with that one I think.

The reports seem to indicate it was Doherty who got the brace, not O'Brien.
