Tis very freaky indeed!
Read about in in a book a while back and decided to give it a crack-it took about 3 of us 15/20 minutes to work out what it was doing..........I won't spoil the fun though :)
ah for the love of jehova...
Liam Liam Liam you have to tell me whats goin on with it!! Its been freakin  me out for ages.
Saw similar thing a couple of years ago. Basically the formula works all the time, but it's the symbols that change. Next time do the same equation with the same numbers but you'll find that only the symbols ever change. The symbol (say 45 or 18) is the same for every possible sum from this formula. But it can never be say 28 because this number cannot be achieved through this method.
Took me about 5 minutes. My cynical mind and my only ever 'O' Level being in Maths (taken a year early if you don't mind) contributed to my rapid assessment no doubt. I know: I am big-headed b*stard! :D
Lopez,i'm not even gonna try to understand your expanation Because I believe in the power of the crystal ball. :D
