Fair play Annalise, she's keeping the speed up in less extreme conditions, and is slowly developing a tactical head to go with her boat handling and fitness.
Maybe more of a one for the Totty thread, but Tiffany Brien and Saskia Tidey are going fairly well in the 49er XX: https://www.facebook.com/BrienTideyFX

One of the biggest competitions of the European calender, Kieler Woche, starts today in Germany, Ryan Seaton and Matt McGovern will be hoping for a decent result in the 49er after winning the Sail for Gold regatta in Weymouth last week, Tiff and Saskia, and James Espey will also be racing. Annalise will be sitting it out for reasons unknown (she could just be having a rest, or prioritising. Kiel Week isn't cheap to enter)
For anyone who's interested, Ryan and Matt have opened with a 4th and a 5th in a fleet of 50 boats. Tiff and Saskia have and 8th and a 7th in a fleet of 14, in spite of gear failure in race 1. You can watch the racing live (and in glorious German) here
Also, I'd vote in favour of a dedicated sailing thread, only I think I'd be the only one posting in it!

Annalise has just won the Laser Radial European Championships in Dun Laoghaire. Fantastic achievement for her, and for Irish sport:
