as a supporter who has been in Japan for 3 years (returning briefly last year to see us destroy Galway 5-0), can anybody fill me in on why the club is in such an awful situation? A lot has been written here about Michael O Sullivan, who, when I left, wasnt in a position of real importance. I think that this situation is too bad for just one man to create, so anybody able to give me the lowdown on where things have gone wrong?

Reasons
1). No ground of our own
2). Poor Support.
3). No proper commercial funding sought by the committee for a sustained period.
4). No money....as a direct result of the above.
5). Average squad with very little strength in depth.
6). Totally inept committee split down the middle. The controlling trio couldn't organisea a p1ss up in a brewery.
7). FAI treat us like lepers when it comes to assistance because basically we have been made lepers by the ineptitude of our current committee.
However, this should be all coming to an end soon when we get the proper backing and committee we've been crying out for for years now.. :)
