Shels maintain lead at the top
Jason Byrne scored a hat-trick for Shelbourne to maintain their lead at the top of the eircom Premier Division table after a 4-1 win over Shamrock Rovers at Richmond Park on Friday night.
Rovers 'keeper Russell Payne upended Stuart Byrne in the penalty area as early as the second minute, and the Ireland Internatioanl striker gave his side the lead with his executed spot-kick.
