Ireland U19s v Czech Republic

Just back from the game in Flancare, and an enjoyable evening out. The football on show was to a very good standard despite the conditions, played at a high tempo and well taken goals. Aside from this, the main reason I posted was to commend all those behind the scenes. Flancare park was looking excellent this evening, simple things like new goal nets, the benches beside the dugouts for the civil defence, the sign on the stand for the away fans, and the season reviews on the wall in the clubhouse, coupled with a Mooney framed jersey. Very impressive and the place really should be looking for more underage games, as it is a terrific ground we should be all proud of. Well done again to all involved!

Dont like to name names but huge huge credit to Emmett Ryan for what he has done in the clubhouse with the Cup finals display ands the new TV....Love the blue lighting it catches your eye the minute you walk in

I had actually had a decent plugin for the gallery, but then I updated WordPress and it was gone on me. I'm going to install it soon and see if that fixes things.....

I unfortunately was absent from the game due to stupid stubborn chest infection that I cant get rid of. It seemed a superb night. What was the attendance ?

would encourage people who didnt go the last night to head out if they are at a loose end, some very talented players on show (including our nemesis of last season - Seanie Maquire). International football in flancare for a fiver ..

Ended 1-1 was a fantastic game of football, Ireland extremely extremely unlucky not to win. Hit the crossbar twice and the Czech keeper made some brilliant saves, some great talent on the Irish side. Hopefully we see more of these games in Flancare, a healthy crowd of around 400+
