Seeing his goals so far this season mostly have been tap ins but that's what we need - a player who gets in the right spot and takes the easy ones a la Lineker. Provided this continues he could become an option sooner rather than later.
Elliott's goal scoring record in underage international football speaks for itself, he is a natural goalscorer and he needs to be given a chance. Against the Faroes would be ideal.Quote:

If there were a few injuries to our strikers then he could come in to the squad but it would need to be an emergency for him to play a competitive game. I'm sure he will make his debut early 2005.Quote:

Elliott has started Sunderland's last 4 league games and they've won all 4. Previous to that they had only won 2 in 6.
