Heard the interview on BRB tonight.
Sounded like a great occasion for the U 21s.
What have they got that they might pass on to the Senior XI?
Hoggie for a start :p
I reckon Minty and Softic, but not for a couple of seasons yet.
Lally might also do it in time.
Aherne has been around for at least three years without making the breakthrough, but Lordan's experience this year gives him hope.
Behan has been very good at this level in the last month or so, so don't write him off yet.
Behan was great today. He was denied a hat trick as the ref adjudged him to have pushed a defender before heading home a corner. Even beside Steve O'Flynn, who played very well, Behan was the star man. He won every ball and was always a menace to the Belgrove defence.
I was very impressed with Gutts at the back too. Some slight dude came on on the right wing for the last 15 and looked very good too.
That was Karl Caulfield, used to play with Kilreen. Think he's only bout 17 or 18Quote:

No such team as Sligo/Mayo I don't think. There's a Mayo League team and a SLigo/Leitrim League.Quote:

The belgrove manager was just a bit overweight and and kept abusing the ref a la dolan.
Thank god dolan has better dress sence.
My first under 21 game of the season, have to say i was impressed with Stu Ashton seems to really know his stuff.
we've been drawn at home in the final against either sligo/leitrim or drogheda who play their semi-final on sunday. no date set yet but it's due to be played before the end of the monthQuote:
