Last time each major trophy was won outside of Dublin was 2007, and before that 2005. Seeing the end of Dublins 5 year dominance?

If Sligo win the league, it'll be the first time since we won it in 2005 that it's gone to a team from outside the pale/east coastal area.
It's only happened 3 times in the last 20 years (2x Cork City - 1992/93 and 2005, 1x Derry City 1996/97).
That is staggering when you think of it, so 20% of the league wins in 20 years are outside the pale, that speaks volumes to be honest.Quote:
