Just wondering, because its been said that Sligo are gonna need to add the figures up sooner or later ..... Sligo are spending more than they bring in and are gonna be the next big club to find themselves in trouble.
Whats Sligo fans take on it? Is the club being run prudently?
Given the fact they are handing out 18 month contracts despite regularly having the begging bowl out, they must be doing quit well for themselves now.
I just hope to god its not all built on a deck of cards. They play a lovely game of football up there and it must be a great time for them, enjoy it but i fear it will all come crashing down unless fans start to ask questions and demand that it be run correctly.Quote:

Mighty impressive figures, I think it's fair to say. It's also worth noting that the money they are bringing has not really been impacted by the Great Economic Crash.

Like with all clubs , fan attendance is everything and when your winning you get more people coming to you , the showgrounds gets over 3,000 a game at times which is a lot of revenue.
