Aug 13th: FIGURES released yesterday showed more Irish soccer fans watched Shelbourne draw with Deportivo than watched Manchester United play. RTE's coverage attracted an audience share of 25pc - a quarter of all people watching television at the time, or 317,000.

i belive there was something similar for a bphs/shels game last year.
cant belive they dont pick up on that. theres huge potential obviously
25% is excelent - shows the latent interest in the league here, twice as many eL fans than ManU fans - thats as it should be!
