Is McGinty still with the FAI then or did he decide to switch to the FA?
Best of luck to him. He has stuck with us from a very young age even though the brits wanted him. Was treated very poorly by doolin last season and has been ignored this season again for the under 19s very poor management
McGinty got the assist on Morecambe's second goal to put them in the lead against Cheltenham, going on to win 3-1
Really hope Doolin calls him up for the qualifiers. He is our only defender playing first team football at under 19 level

That does seem biased!Last season Mceleney was having a great season at derry and could not get a game in a team lacking attacking players so I would agree there may be issues with home based sides.Quote:

Im more impressed than ever. Driving with a dislocated shoulder is truely impressive.

At the risk of taking the thread further off-topic (:p), I once witnessed a pair of thieves trying to hack a lock off a bike down a Deansgate alley, but it's a reasonably busy city-centre area with up-scale bars and clubs. Never heard it was a paradise for car thieves.

I hope he turns out like Mark Connolly i.e. there has been an initial outlay on a young prospect and his club given up on the player prematurely who subsequently turns into a fine player. David Weir is young and likely to be ambitious and was a quality centre half in his day.
