I for one cant get into Arctic Monkeys effort. I didnt listen to too many new albums this year but Foo Fighters and Kasabian stand out for me..
This year's been a bit pants to be honest. Maybe just me...but these one's stood out.

Haven't heard Man Of Aran myself, but heard good things. Do check it out - personally I wasn't huge into 'Do You Like Rock Music', but new album has a lot of strong tunes. Nothing spectacular, but very nice all the same.Quote:

The Horrors- Skying I thought Primary colours would be hard to top but they really showed themselves to be one of the best and most talented bands around at the moment. Cracking live as well.
