EXILES' Rendez-Vous Au Dublin Pour Le Match

It's official! The EXILES, Cork City FC supporters living in Dublin, are gathering for their first time on Sunday afternoon to watch the Nantes match live. :ball:

Frazer's Pub is the communal venue. It's at the north end of O' Connell Street.

All City fans in Dublin who can't make it to France for the match are welcome. Invite your friends along too for football and fun! The more the merrier, so spread the word.
It's a regular hangout for Celtic fans so wear your City jersey to show them that there is more than one club in Ireland/Scotland. ;)

Remember, the game kicks off at 5 Irish time. See you there.

What channel is the game on?

A few of us Drogs were going to head somewhere to watch it before the shels match.

Doubt Fagans or the cat and cage would be showing it or anywhere closer to the ground so we might head down there aswel if we can get nowhere closer to tolka!! (fingers crossed find somewhere closer though if anyone has any suggestions?)

nice one, i'd definitely call in and watch, only i'll be there instead! top of o'connell street is only about a 25 minute hussle from tolka, so not too bad (probably less if you grab a bus, 11,16,13a all run from o'connell street to within couple minutes of the ground).

Can someone find out if it's definitely on, not just if the pubs can pick up the signal of French TV stations.

It's looking more and more like the game is not going to be aired on tv in France, Cork, Dublin or anywhere so the EXILES highly anticipated first gathering looks like being postponed. :(

We're holding out for last minute confirmation about any tv coverage from our source in France but it looks like unlikely at this stage.

Please keep an eye on the forum and spread the word to any EXILES that might not be online over the weekend that the rendez-vous will probably have to be cancelled.

I just rang Frazers and they said they have it tomorrow definitely.

But I don't know where they're getting it from because no french station seems to be carrying it, the local TV station in Brittany has the rights but it's not on their schedule for tomorrow (that they updated today)

I rang them a couple of times today and the barman who answered said that they were showing. But when I questioned them further they said that they didn't know what station it would be on. I told them that it actually wasn't being shown on the local French channel and they said they'd have to ask their satellite expert.

So beware, I don't think it will be on there. :(

if you follow the inter-toto link at the top of the page, you'll find the game tomorrow is NOT being covered on the Telly.

I'd advise people to check this website tomoorw (check on the time it was last updated) before wasting their time in Frazer's :(

I know when you ring Frazers they say they are showing but I just thinks the barmen haven't reaslised that the local Brittany tv station are not actually showing it!

How can they be showing it if no tv station is actually broadcating it? :confused:
