methinks they'll be outsung
sad reflection that 64% of the fans who bother to post on the forums can't be bothered to go, going on forums here, you'd imagine as a group they'd be among the more motivated sections fans.
facing a small attendance
My brother says they played man u in the CL a few years back and beat them 2-1 in Nantes, anyone know if thats true.I know they have played in the CL fairly recently and that they finished sixth last year in the french prem.
It is a pity that there fans won't bother coming out to watch them against us,but lets hope that no matter how many turn up that they'll be booing at the end of the game just like the biys in Malmo and Nec. :D
Not sure, but even if it is they on managed to draw 3-3 with Sligo Rovers in '97, I think I'll concentrate on that resultQuote:

was it not a 1 all draw with man u. i think van Nistelrooy scored a peno in the last minute to get a draw.
Probably was so,typical of the man u scum with a last minute peno.If City got a 1-1 over there i'd be delighted.
score was 1-1 with united winning the game at old trafford 5-1
They finished 6th last year, thats 3 points ahead of Marseille who beat Newcastle in Uefa Cup Semi if you need english comparison.

Van Nistelrooy in the 93rd minute. Wouldn't it be sweet if City did the same :DQuote:

No it wouldn't be sweet because that would mean that our run of clean sheets in Europe would be over.Quote:

Team Ranking
Nantes 39th
City 216st
"What the hell are Nantes up to?
I just saw on their website (As usual!) that a Nantes selection that will include their experienced defender Pascal Delhommeau and new signing Julio Caceres (Won't play against us as his registration has yet to go through!) will play a benefit match (Reseach against cerebral tumors!) against fellow French 1st Division side Stade Rennes on Saturday 17th at 6 p.m. That's right ... about 24 hours before the City game! Either they are very cocky, very good, or very unimpressed with Intertoto matches!"
a case of underestimating us I wonder???
