Scored the opener in Wolves' Reserve game with Sunderland there.
League debut tonight playing the last 14 minutes of Wolves' 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.
Great effort as Hammill was on the bench as well as winger cover
Might as well start this thread now...
Hopefully a future senior international.
Makes his first league start today against Arsenal. Weakened side but a huge vote of confidence from Mick.
edit: looking again, it's not a weakened side. He's in at centre midfield. And they're 1-0 down already.
edit 5: actually Hunt's in the centre, Forde on the right
Hopefully. Making your first start against Arsenal having only turned 18 recently is a fantastic feat. Hope it goes well for him today.
no jarvis is playing, hunty is playing centre mid too which i'll be interested to see, arsenal 1 nil up
Played for seventy minutes and done well. Great prospect.
fair play to him kept so many experienced players on the bench hard to believe mick would pick a kid for a trip to arsenal great effort.
Interesting one with Hunt at centre-mid.
Good news - he was mentioned in a possible loan move to St Johnston a couple of weeks ago.
Mick's comments on Forde's performance: http://www.wolves.co.uk/page/News/0,...559275,00.html
I would agree with every thing Mick said, it was a mainly defensive performance so he did not have a lot to
do but what he did he did well, he didn't make a bad pass as far as I can see, you certainly would not have thought he was the 18
year old rookie.
On the bench again today against Stoke
Starts for Wolves today
Wolves wingers Hunt, Peszko and Boukari have all been ruled out for the next couple of months, so Forde may be back in contention for a spot.
signed for Walsall, two year contract: http://www.saddlers.co.uk/news/artic...4-1822296.aspx
Thank God he got out of Wolves and away from Jackett. He didn't get a look in at League One with Wolves last seasons so hopefully he can leave his mark this year. Still only 20 so plenty time to progress up the leagues and not many rungs away from the PL he was playing at, sporadically but encouragingly, under Mick McCarthy.
Getting a move to League One is a pretty good deal considering the last couple of years he's had. Hopefully he can get back on track now, he's still only 20.
