Damien Parker Memorial Day

this is being held in the fairview grounds on saturday from about 2.00 onwards.
there is a seven a side tournament as well as various things for children.
should be a great day and hopefully they will get good weather for it.
there will be a draw on the day,but also a big draw being held in october,prize being flights, accom,and match tickets for man utd versus man city.
tickets for this are 5 euro each or 3 for ten euro.
all proceeds will go to damiens family.
all welcome on the day with Kareoke organised followed by band

it was organised by a few of the lads in fairview and also some of damiens workmates in the post office.
as far as i know there are 12 teams involved,with a lot of lads who have played in a while,or who have not played period!!!!
should make for good crack in memory of a great bloke.

great day and night had by all....
congrats to all the lads who orginised the day.
fergal o'grady, andy sheehan, blueboy and, terry from the post office.
some moments of sadness,particularly when his wife tanya sang"you'll never walk alone"
