was at the game last night i walked in to see the ref pointing to the spot, delighted my first game of the season ramblers just about to take a 1 nill lead,
sadly not, peno was scored by dub who went straight to the top of the A league socre board with an impressive 4 goals in 5 games, sadly when i got past the bushes that sealed to northbank i found out we had in fact conceded, so 1-1,
ramblers seemed the better of the 2 sides domination posseion, playing good balls through, but just not getting the right penetration, we nearly pushed ahead on several ocasion one where the keeper just got the tips of his finger to the ball to hit it off the crossbar,
looking at the league we have conceded 7 goals and scored 8, so i think if the defence can be sorted we should start doing well, were only 5 games in and sitting 3rd on the table, so i see no reason why we cant be in contetion for promotion when the time comes, if not the front runners,
that the 2011 a chapionship page, it has some fixtures are on there, mostly the next game for some clubs, it has both league tables which seem to be updated fast enough (last nights result is there and the table has also been updated), it has all the scorers so far and how many goals, so fair play to whoever done that, excellent job,
random fact: ramblers lost around 100 game balls last year, each ball is E50 a go, that E5k on balls,:(
