Out of curiosity, how come there is a "Rubbish" forum? why not just delete the offending posts as I doubt many people read/care about what gets sent there?

The same reason people pick scabs.
its my favourite forum! Some gems in there!!
Usually so those whose posts were deleted can see them in context and understand why. Replies that are relevant to the rubbish but not to the thread, for example. Individual posts are usually just deleted, since the OP can (usually) see these in context in the thread. But not (usually) other people's deletions.Quote:
