town pair play in cup final loss for tallaght IT

I thought this deserves a mention. Town players Don Cowan and Jacques Morley played in the 3-1 loss to Carlow IT last night.

Did Don finish top scorer in the end he was in the running for it......fair play to him anyway and hopefully hel carry over this scoring form for the Town

not the first town player to play for tallaght, if memory serves Ian Ryan did also a few yrs back!?!

He did yeah, my brother was in college there at the time and used to see him knocking around the place. I think they may have a link with Shamrock Rovers.

interesting to see Schlingermann on the carlow team, werent we linked with him a while back?! Did he find a league club in the end?

They used to have a link with rovers, i played for them when richardson and marc kenny were managin them, that link is gone now, pat scully is their manager now

saw in the paper yesterday that Don was playing for the FAI colleges team against their northern counterparts, tom king also in the team...

Also saw a Paddy Collins the Irish University side, it says studies at DCU, looks the same one we have, can anyone confirm this?

The world university games are in China in august, hopefully we wont lose him for a vital time in the season...

Well our Paddy Collins is apparently on a football scholarship at DCU so I'd assume it's the same lad.
