Was there under Alan Matthews at Shels till 1998/99.Played against Rangers in the famous UEFA Cup game in 1997/98. Moved to Newry Town for two years and moved to Portadown where he won a championship medal under Ronny McFauls management.
This is great news.maybe the final piece of the Jigsaw and with Aaron supposedly on his way back we now have no excuses.We can now leave Darragh in the middle of a field somewhere and hope he dosen't find his way back or sell him to Athlone.Our full strenght team should now be in my opinion

I'd swop Vinny for Gartland or Paisley
I'd have Pip in there with Fitzgerald, Fitzgerald will be the physical one, Pip the ball player, his main flaw is that he's not strong enough so witha bit of steel alongside him he could really come into his own
I just assumed he was more of ball playing midfielder due to his goal scoring record (which seemed pretty good for a midfielder). If he's more of a physical player then Pip alongside would be ideal...Quote:
