Cats will want a good Rovers return in Sligo

KILKENNY CITY will be hoping for a good return from their away trip to Sligo on Saturday.
Manager, Ger Bickerstaffe was happy with Thursday’s trip to Dundalk where City played a 1-1 draw and is likely to name an unchanged side.
It was City’s first point away from home and marked another good performance overall by the Buckley Park Club.
Saturday’s clash is vital in that it will keep Kilkenny in line for mid-table comfort rather than courting re-election at the wrong end of the table. Don O’Riordan’s Rovers are just a point ahead of Kilkenny with two wins and three defeats.
