IT WAS a good result for Kilkenny City in Dundalk. But it could have been even better.
With a bit of luck City would have brought three points home from Oriel Park on Thursday instead of adding just one to their tally.
For in the final five minutes they created two good chances with goal-grabber Barry Wood going close with a scissors kick and sub Damien Coogan just off target from the edge of the box after winning two good tackles.
The game was a tough one for City after an energy-sapping four-hour coach trip to the border town.
