Craig Walsh got a run in the team for the last 8 or 10 games or so. He definitely has ability and will make it at Premier Division (at the very minimum) level imo. He was wasted in our team a lot of the time though as the ball was sailing over his head quite a bit.
Don Cowan would probably be better off playing as a winger. He played the last 6 or 8 games up top for us, and he wouldn't hit a barn door. Very poor finisher. His strength and hold up play was decent enough, and he has exceptional pace. Not a striker though, and I'd be surprised if he made a career in the Premier Division.
Viktor Ekanem was hit and miss. He played a good few games at right back and his positional sense was shocking most of the time. He has decent pace though which got him out of trouble a few times. He also filled in in centre midfield a few times, and put in a few decent performances. He's a bit of a headless chicken a lot of the time though.
would agree with the above post, and I do think Walsh should make a good career for himself in the league of ireland if not beyond as a classy old style no 10, he was wasted with us.
never mind them, ye dont want carig walsh back yet! leave him with us for another year!!
please
I'd agree with De Town on Cowan. He has great strength and pace. Would be far better off as a winger. Not a striker at all.
I was disappointed with Craig Walsh. He sat out a few games and when he played was a non-player.
As for Viktor, he wouldn't be the worst player in the world if he kept his head. Not a defender. At all.
