Team captain and veteran defender Paul Curran will take temporary charge of managerless Dundalk in the wake of the departure of Trevor Anderson over the weekend.
Northern Irishman Anderson stepped down from his position at the helm of the Lilywhites after strong criticism following the defeat at the hands of Galway United at Oriel Park on Thursday night.
