LOI Club Sponsors

Does anyone know if any of the LOI Clubs are sponsored be car companies?

Cork is Nissan, isn't it?

Edit : No, Cork are sponsored by Beamish.

Is it Pats are Nissan?

Nissan are sponsor them alright, as per the website anyway.

Rovers have a sponsor 'partner' which is EP Mooney Hyundai, although it's still on the back of the jersey, but I think they've gone tits up.

They're definitely no longer around.

They started up again as Mooney's.

Gerry Cumiskey Volswagen used to sponser the shed. http://www.gerrycumiskey.ie/contentv3/

I don't think they still do but I'm sure they are still involved with the club in some way.

Any reason for the question in general?

Nissan Sponsers the Saints. Think this is the only one on Jerseys anyway!

We used to be sponsered by Nissan alright around the 2005 title winning season .

Sandtex paints appear on the back, too.

Might be an idea to put down the shirt sponsors of all the clubs since we are all consumers as well and should look after companies that support the League of Ireland if we can in some way.

I definitely use Flancare for all my haulage and warehousing needs. I'd draw the line at driving a feckin Micra if I was a Pats fan though...

Still prefer Tayto, sorry Drogheda.

Limerick's main sponsor is the Irish Greyhound Board.

So whenever I feel energetic I go for a run around Limerick's new greyhound track. Bord na gCon aren't thrilled by my patronage though.

Just to highlight what companies are sponsoring / supporting the league. It would be good if people considered these companies when buying if and where possible.

Donegal Creameries are our main sponsor with the superb Daisy the Cow displayed on the front of the Jersey - Class.

Screw Dundalk's logo, we have the best in the land.

Bray Wanderers Main Sponsors/Partners

Main - Sports World
Back of Jersey - Lifeline
Club Partner - Tipperary Water

UCD have O'Neill's on the front of the jerseys this year. I think it was the only way we could guarantee we'd get the kits on time.
