thats good to here, raise to old pr profile, i'm sittin here at my pc dumping town goals onto my hard drive, i'm gonna try and get 101 goals so i can get a good dvd together for later in the season.......
how will this work Sinead? I am normally around every Saturday -every three weeks i work saturdays ten to two but I definitely would be interested in taking part in this documentary.
We are planning to film at the Town V Bohs game on Fri, May 7th and then travel back to Longford with the bus (filming on bus etc).
We will be in Flancare on then Saturday - all day but will probably do most of the supporter stuff on the Friday!
thtas not fair, that means i have to brush my hair to go to the game
Will this be similar to stephen finn's one :)

You do interview all the supporters and ask them all the smae questions and piece it together question by question, giving the best five answers kinda thing. Hard to tackle really ..... will you let us know your ideas etc. and let us know how it worked out for you.
But the point i am trying to make ..... fans stuff should be over a whole season of footage not just one day. takes a while to get the "money shot" ;)
Best of luck with it though .... we need more of it.
Was the Stephen Finn Documentary on Longford Town ever aired or were the club ever given a finished copy of the documentary
No, he never came up with the cash to finish it/edit it. He reckoned it was going to cost 10k to edit it properly..Don't know what happened to the footage
It costs hundreds to edit - you have to get into the whole lark of hiring an editing suite and stuff so I can understand where he may be getting such a big figure from.
Basically the documentary is going to be 15-17 mins long so in terms of ratios the length of the bus journey should be fine.
However, am i looking for a copy of the FAI Cup Replay of Longford Town V Waterford game in Flancare in 2001 - If anyone has a copy?
And if anyone happened to tape the news on the 26th of October or anything the week before the Cup Final when RTE were down. Its a long shot I know but if you have anything will you let me know
Cheers!
