France suspend entire World Cup squad for Norway friendly

Laurent Blanc and the French FA have suspended the entire 23-man World Cup squad from their next friendly game against Norway because of their strike action in South Africa.

They don't seem ready to let this story drop and I'm sure there will be some reaction from players about this (most likely Evra). Having said that I'm sure none of them will be too concerned about missing an August friendly and we can expect to see most of them back in action when the qualifiers start in September. Both Anelka and Henry have already announced their International retirements so it doesn't really affect them.
