I see in todays longford news that we are due to play a liverpool legends XI in early september I believe. I wonder is this a normal ltfc XI? What do ye think? It should be a laugh especially to see the Irish Liverpool players..

Probably be a mixture of the current squad and guests I'd imagine. A lot of Liverpool fans about Longford unfortunately so there'll probably be a decent crowd if there's a bit of publicity. The general idea is that the dinner goes a long way to paying the costs involved if things go to plan.

There was a squad list sent over alright by the company that represents them, there's a regular squad of them that go around the circuit. Harps had them not so long ago from recollection. The squad lists are usually accurate enough as regards the travelling squad as there's contracts signed and there's a decent bit of cash in it for them so there should be some "names" alright.
