Would Love A Lab. Tried to rescue a dog from the pound but as we have small children the wont give us a fully grown dog and don't have any puppies
Check Gumtree, Adverts.ie, etc. Any other pounds within driving distance?

There are a few shelters around Dublin and you can usually register with them I think so they call you when a pup becomes available.

Got an Old English Sheepdog (Dulux Dog) from someone through done deal. Beautiful dogs and very friendly with kids.
I had two of them when my eldest was about 3 years old and youngest was just born, beautiful creatures and so protective of the baby. Called them Oscar and Byron. Adoreable.Quote:
