I know they are an old club but does anyone have any info on Bluebell United? There aint much about them online to be fair. Would have thought that they'd at least have a website, even if it was just static information.

Here's a bit from wiki but it's not complete as I know they were beaten finalists in the Intermediate Cup last year 08/09 by Crumlin Utd.

Bluebell United F.C. are an amateur club from south Dublin who play in the Leinster Senior League. 1st choice colours are yellow/black and 2nd choice colours are blue. Our club was founded in 1946 in the southern suburbs of Dublin. All the committees work on a voluntary basis. During the 1999 season a major revamp of our football ground was carried out. This project was part funded by a grant from our Irish National Lottery, the remainder was raised by organising events, plus funding from team sponsors and advertisers.

There are a few famous players who started off with Bluebell as well. I just cant recall who they are at the moment. Does anyone have any ideas?
Fahey played with them after he came home from England an before he first signed for Pat's.
Our record win is against Bluebell United. :) 7-0 in the League Cup in 2000/01.
Capco Park is the name of the ground. Right beside a car scrapyard. We played Cherry Orchard in a Cup game there one year.
Keith quinn played with them last season. .My granda is the chairman
Unlucky tonight.
I know this post is off the beaten track and nothing to do with the thread but is there anyone who could give me info on clubs in the Artane/Killester/Raheny area. I'm looking to sign for a junior club but want to stay local to these areas. I've played premier at junior level and was hoping to stay playing at a decent level in Dublin.
