Belated congratulations on an excellent week - 2 6-1 victories (one away) and denting Waterford's 100% start to the league.
Though hard to follow the league from away, seem to be picking up a vibe that things are on the up in Monaghan. Had not Derry & Cork been enforced with relegation suspect that Mons could have been dark horses to challenge Shels and Waterford who must have been favorites for top of the league.
With 4 top teams evidently going to be hot favorites confident Mons should be best of the rest for 5th, but if the good start continues think Mons could suprise the top 4 and become a suprise package.
Hope with continued success you start to get increased crowds with possible bumper crowd when Derry visit.
When is that ?

Thanks Mr Nut! Yeah delighted with the last few games but we really face a tough few weeks now. Cork City away this Friday night followed by 4 home games against Limerick, Derry, Bohs and Shelbourne!
We play Derry on the 7th May.

Fingers x for the Mons tonight and it becomes an unbelievablre fortnight for the Mons.
Though the common consensus may suggest the big 4 will lead the way in Div 1 this season, if Mons can get something out of this week-ends game it should indicate it could be 5 team challange, confidence levels increase for an interesting set of fixtures.
Mons to be dark horses this season.

Whoohooo Mr Historynut, you are now our good luck charm! Cant believe it, we are 3rd in the table! I know its close and all below us but its just great to be putting together a few results.
Limerick will be a very tough game for us as they are always a very determined team and cause us problems.

GREAT RESULT WELL DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!1
Pleased to be of assistance.
Trust result puts a few on the gate v Limerick, you'll know what you'd normally expect. Result there and Derry could be a humdinger game and crowd one would expect.

You would think Historynut but since we had 2 6-1 results and were hosting the table toppers you would have thought we would have had a crowd for Waterford but being the eternal optomist I will be expecting an increased crowd for the Lims game!

In case don't get on line before week-end all the best for the week-end v Limerick, will keep an eye out for the result. Ironically will be Derry night of the 7th, now whereas thru loyalty always had a soft spot may have ironic grin that night .
